The Foundation
Schools' Clinical Program consists of a variety
of interventions
to meet the specific
educational, behavioral and therapeutic needs
of each individual student. These services
are based on the goals and objectives identified
in each student’s Individual Education Plan
(IEP) and include the following: Group Therapy: Students have group therapy three times a week. Group therapy sessions are designed to facilitate students learning communication and coping skills. Group modules have been developed to provide structured learning activities including group discussions, role-plays, and expressive therapy activities. The modules include such topics as the following:
Parent Meetings: Parent groups meet twice a month and focus on topics related to parenting and issues affecting school behaviors. The goal of parent groups is to develop a collaborative effort between home and school that facilitates students’ emotional and educational growth. |
