Transition & Liaison Services

The Foundation Schools has increased their performance goals to be more effective in meeting the transition needs of their students. The goal is to work with students, parents, staff, in addition to county, community, and human services representatives to access the best options available and to advocate for new services.  It is critical to provide a comprehensive continuum of transition services. The division staff facilitates planning for students whenever more intensive treatment may be needed and they work with local school systems regarding access to public school programs and services, which could serve as less restrictive options for Foundation School students.
